SandFix Gold

A specially developed topical liquid spray fluid for tail, ear and flank biting in pigs.

A unique formula containing a combination of ingredients which:

Feeding Instructions

Apply Shield Plus generously to the affected tail and surrounding area of the pigs in the pen.
• Spray every two days
• Repeat as required

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE
Warnings: The product may cause eye irritation. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Gloves should be worn when using the product. Avoid hand to mouth contact. Wash hands after use.

Supporting horses that ingest sand.

Unique source of milled Psyllium husk containing soluble fibre, which can absorb 16 times its weight in water.

Rapidly forms mucilage which lubricates the gut and facilitates the gentle removal of accumulated sand.

Natural Psyllium Hus Psyllium is one of the only non-invasive recognised treatments for sand accumulation in the gut Psyllium husk is a source of soluble fibre that resembles bran and acts as a laxative in the colon. Psyllium is thought to stimulate intestinal motility, induce peristalsis and shorten the passage time for feed through the digestive tract. Research shows that psyllium treatment may increase fecal sand clearance and gut motility in horses with sand accumulation.

 

Feeding & Use

Maintenance: 

Feed 100 g ( 2 x heaped scoops) daily mixed with feed for 7 days every 4 weeks for maintenance or as directed by your veterinary advisor.

On veterinary recommendation in the presence of compaction: Feed 100 g daily of SandFix Mixed into the feed every day for 21 days or as directed by your Veterinary Advisor. Note: Fresh drinking water should always be available. 1 heaped Scoop = 50 g
