Supporting stronger bones, improving eggshell quality
Today, poor shell quality represents a huge hidden cost to the egg producer in terms of uncollectable or unsellable eggs. In breeding flocks poor shell quality leads to losses due to reduced hatchability and chick livability. Older flocks and/or flocks suffering from IB are more susceptible to issues with shell quality. Osteoporosis is a major cause of death in high-production flocks with high rates of mortality due to fractures. Therefore, every effort must be focused towards improving shell quality and reducing egg breakage and leg fractures.
Avi Vit 100 Maxi Min delivers a unique combination of nutrients and nutraceuticals that have a positive effect on improving egg-shell quality and bone strength.
Supports:
✓ Bone strength and optimal development of the skeleton in fattening broilers ✓ The immune system during times of stress: (heat stress, feed change, transport, thinnings)
Feeding Instructions
Laying & breeder hens Intake target is 0.4 ml per hen per day. Where ambient temperature is in the range of 20-26°C mix at a rate of 1 litre per 500 litres of clean drinking water and feed for 3 – 5 days. Where environmental temperatures are higher adjust mixing rate to allow for increased water intake.
Note: Where infectious Bronchitis has affected a flock, the use of Avi Vit 100 at 2 litres per 500 litres of clean drinking water for 3 days has been shown to support egg quality. The solution should be used within 24 hours.
