As the demand for alcohol gel and hand sanitiser is at unprecedentedly high levels, and we understand that there are lots of people and businesses in need of supply.
At Mervue, we are working with the Department of Health and the Health Service Executive to supply alcohol gel to frontline healthcare workers, and this is our immediate priority.
Like so many, Mervue Laboratories Ireland is doing what we can at a time of great national crisis. We hope that in doing so, it helps our healthcare professionals in their efforts to protect all of us from the spread of the virus.
Mervue Produced the 100,000th Bottle of Hand Sanitiser on 25th March 2020
In the first week of production, we have been able to produce over 100,000 bottles of Hand Sanitiser. Which is a great start but we know this is a marathon not a sprint in the fight against COVID 19.
We are currently receiving a large volume of calls from various business and organisations to purchase hand sanitising gel but we will only be focusing on fulfilling our duty to frontline healthcare workers, initially.
We are committed to creating additional capacity in the production of alcohol gel and when we can achieve this, we will be able to start supplying other business and organisations.
