Feed Buffer

Rumi-dex

Feed Buffer and Alkaliser for Dairy Cows, Beef, Cattle, Calves and Sheep.

RUMI-DEX is a breakthrough in the search for an ideal buffering and alkalising agent. RUMI-DEX has many properties, which make it the only and obvious choice for inclusion in feeds. RUMI-DEX is long-acting and regulates rumen pH for optimum digestion and performance.

Maximise Rumen Performance with RUMI-DEX

5 Active Ingredients

RUMI-DEX should be used:

• Where acidosis or sub-acute ruminal acidosis (SARA) are a risk.
• With high levels of concentrate feed.
• When feeding high cereal diets.
• With silages and fermented feeds or lush grass.
• During heat stress.

Feeding Instructions

RUMI-DEX Feeding Levels for:

Dairy · Feed 80 grams per head per day – mix through concentrate feed or TMR.

· Post acidosis episode: feed 120 grams/head /day for 10 days and follow by feeding normal rate.

· Heat stress: feed 120 grams/head /day for 10 days and follow with normal feeding level.

Beef · Add to the concentrate portion of the diet at 1% (10kg per tonne)

· Post acidosis episode: add to concentrate feed at 1.5% (15kg/tonne) for 10 days and follow by feeding normal rate.

Calves · Target intake for RUMI-DEX is 20 grams/head/day.

· This can be increased to 40 grams where there are issues and reduced once problems settle down.

· RUMI-DEX should be mixed with the concentrate feed.

Lambs – Complete Mineral · RUMI-DEX for Lambs is a pre-mixture designed to support feed intakes and growth rates in finishing lambs while at the same time, reducing the risk of feed related issues, particularly acidosis occurring.

· High spec mineral including chelated zinc.

· Live yeast.

· Buffer.

· A diuretic to reduce the risk of urinary calculi.

· Copper antagonist – molybdenum, sulphur and iron added.

· Higher calcium levels will increase the calcium phosphorus

ratio and decrease the risk of urinary calculi.
