One of the biggest killers of weanling and dairy calves is without doubt respiratory infections and more specifically
pneumonia. Mervue Laboratories have formulated RTC to redefine respiratory support in calves and young stock.
This highly concentrated efficacious formulation of antioxidants, essential oils, herbal extracts and B-vitamins provides
support to the respiratory and immune systems of calves, weanlings and young stock in situation of stress.
RTC also contains added appetite stimulants to encourage feed intake. Poor feed intake in weaned animals is a major
cause of stress and immunosuppression. This allows bugs to multiply, and infections can occur. In trying to counteract the
problem of these diseases the first step is to try recognising the cause of stress.
Feeding Instructions
- Feed 6g per calf (1 level scoop for 8 calves)
- Feed 12g per weanling per 250-350kg bodyweight per day (1 level scoop for 4 weanlings).
Feed for 7 days or as recommended by your veterinary surgeon.
Do not feed other sources of minerals without veterinary or nutritional advice.
Note: Fresh drinking water should always be available.
