Mervue Equine was delighted to attend the official launch for the 2025 Dublin Horse show and to announce its continued sponsorship of the prestigious Broodmare Futurity class at the 2025 Dublin Horse Show. Following a successful first year of a three-year sponsorship, Mervue Equine is proud to reaffirm its commitment to supporting the future of Irish sport horse breeding and performance.
The Broodmare Futurity class, first introduced by the RDS in 2010, plays a vital role in identifying and promoting Ireland’s most promising young mares. Selected from the three, four, five and six-year-old national show jumping classes, these mares represent the foundation of future equine success both in Ireland and on the international stage.

Supporting this class aligns perfectly with the company’s mission to help breeders and producers unlock the full potential of Ireland’s talented mares and strengthen the country’s reputation for breeding world-class sport horses.

The Broodmare Futurity final, held on Sunday 10th August, the closing day of the show, features eight mares — two from each age category — competing in an in-hand format. A total prize fund of €6,750 is on offer, with €3,000 awarded to the winning mare.
Mervue Equine will also have a stand in the Simmonscourt Area, S110, where it will showcase its comprehensive range of equine nutritional products developed to maximise health and performance. Visitors will have the opportunity to available of Dublin Hose Show offers, speak to their nutritional experts and maybe catch a glimpse of some of Mervue’s Equine brand ambassadors that drop by the stand!
